There is nothing worse than arriving at an airport and not having any form of transport. It becomes such a hassle; you have to queue up in a line of people all going to hire a car, or try and squeeze yourself onto a train that is not only packed full of people, but is also full to bursting with baggage that every person is carrying! This is certainly not the best way to start your holiday as it will definitely leave you feeling stressed at a number of points – stress over arriving and realising that you have no form of transport, stress that you are trying to work out where on earth the train is going to take you and stress when you finally get on the train because you are incredibly close to lots of strangers (this is made worse if you are perhaps a little claustrophobic). Fortunately for people who are flying to Bristol Airport, there is a solution to ensure that you can get to the hotel without any hassle.
The Bristol airport bus will pick you up when you arrive and take you to almost anywhere you want to go. If you book beforehand then it is much easier but it is very straightforward to leap onto the bus and ask whether it is going in your direction. Even if it isn’t, a little bit of time relaxing on the bus gives you a chance to assess all the options available to you; you can browse through the train timetable leisurely and work out where you need to go without feeling rushed into a decision – much more favourable.

Bristol airport is, arguably, one of the most accessible airports in the country. Situated just outside the city of Bristol, the airport has a host of motorway networks and railway lines that pass right by it, meaning that it is very easy to drive there or catch the train – it is well signposted and the routes are all very direct. There is also the added advantage of it being very accessible for a taxi – many people take a taxi to the airport (in order to avoid the cost of parking the car) so the better the transport links to the airport, the cheaper the journey is going to be (if you can cut the journey time in half because of a good and direct road network, you can effectively cut the cost of the taxi in half; leaving more money for you to spend on your holiday).
Because the airport is so easy to get to, many of the budget airliners have regular flights that go to a wide array of European destinations. Whether you want to fly out to Faro in Portugal or Krakow in Portugal, Bristol is the best airport that you can fly out from. With upwards of 3 or 4 flights every day going to each of the destinations, whatever your personal needs you can be sure that the airport is able to accommodate them. Bristol airport is one of the most popular airports in Britain for one very good reason – it supplies flights that you want!
