If you love shopping then when you arrive in Bristol make sure you get a hire car so that you can explore all of the shopping areas in the city. The newest development is Cabot Circus which is brand new shopping centre which has a car park which is open all of the time and has very cheap tariffs compared to other town centre parking facilities which not only have parking spaces for disabled and parents with toddlers but they even have bays for electric cars where you can plug in your car to charge it while you shop.

There are a huge selection of shops. There are department stores, clothing shops, shoe shops, electrical shops, computer shops, homeware, gift shops, sports shops, toy shops and mobile phone shops as well as restaurants and snack facilities. There are 17 places to eat, some of which open only in the evenings and others that are open at lunch time as well. There are also a selection of coffee shops and take out snack food places.

The award winning building has a state of the art design with massive glass roof and brick and steel supports. It looks like an outdoor street but is mainly all under cover and is well worth looking at just for the design alone. The glass roof makes it very light and airy which adds to the good atmosphere that it has. There is even a curved pedestrian bridge leading form the car park to the shopping centre which fits in with the design.
