Since I was a little girl, I have always had a close relationship with my Mom. Although my parents are still married and I have always had a really good relationship with my Dad (which I feel fortunate about, because I have plenty of friends who’s parents are divorced or they don’t have a good relationship with their Dad), the bond between my Mom and I has just always been a really special one. Because of this, I have always considered my Mom to be my best friend (even though I have a lot of really close friends who are the same age as me), and I truly enjoy spending time with her. I know that there are a lot of people who dread spending time with their parents, but I can honestly say that I never fail to have fun when I spend time with my Mom.

Because we have always got along so well, I was so excited when my Mom asked me if I could go to Bristol with her. My Mom had wanted to take a vacation for awhile, and because my Dad was stuck at work, he actually suggested that she ask me to go with her. I instantly accepted her invitation, and we started planning our trip together.

Two months after she first asked me, we arrived at the Bristol airport. Once we picked up our car hire, we headed out into Bristol and started exploring what it had to offer. We spent a total of six days in Bristol, and it is a trip that I will always remember.
